I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Supreme Optimization (Toronto, ON)
Interview
1) Answer specific questions in the job description via email in certain colours. 2) Record three Loom videos answering specific questions sent via recruiter from a slide deck. 3) Video call with two interviewers.
Very helpful friendly recruiter. Lovely interviewers too, you can tell it's a good company. People at the company seem to be mostly under 40 generally, and the interviewers seemed to be looking for fresh PhDs. I felt kind of old! Pretty standard interview questions about background etc. Skipped asking about the specific work experiences I have related to the job, which threw me, but again, I think it's probably because they are really looking for fresh PHDs. Also asked me to use the (well-known medical term) "ABC-scale" at one point, but actually just meant the school grading system (a tip in case that comes up for you!) ;)
