I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SummitWest Environmental
Interview
There were about 18 questions, which took about 40 minutes to answer, and left 20 minutes for me to ask questions. I was interviewed by one person (HR). I personally do not like being interviewed by HR because I find that they don't know/have experience working out in the field and can end up hiring the wrong people. A biologist might be better at hiring other biologists for this company. When I applied, they got back to me relatively fast. I interviewed the next week via Google Meet, got hired the next day, and started a week after the interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SummitWest Environmental in Feb 2023
Interview
One round of virtual interview over Zoom, reformatting resume to match the company format so they can send to other larger consulting firms to subcontract you out, and then a second round of shadowing a wildlife biologist on construction site
