Was first given a fairly elaborate assignment, when submitting I got a one sentence reply to remove it as it was uploaded publicly (github), although this was an instant red flag I decided to continue with the application process as I had already invested hours in it making the assignment. So skip to the interview, I literally got grilled, first they reserved an hour for more pop quiz javascript, extremely menial. After which they grilled me for another 30 minutes with technical questions. At no point did they give me the impression that they had looked at a. my portfolio, b. my github, c. my codepen, d. the assignment I made.
I'm generally very bad in social settings as I have social anxiety, I froze up and got extremely nervous, they made no attempts to slow down the cross-examination or perhaps take a different approach other than having me continue solving a mathematical problem.
Very rude and disrespectful, glad they didn't hire someone with people skills to do the interview or I might have ended up working here.
