      GIS Analyst Interview

      13 Sept 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SubCom in Aug 2025

      Interview

Got a call from the recruiter to schedule a screening call at a later date. Then had a call with the hiring manager, which was more of them telling me about the role than them asking me questions about my experience. Then they asked me to come in person for a panel interview, which I attended despite living a considerable distance away. The panel interview went fine, though it felt like they were trying to dissuade me from taking it by bringing up how old and dusty the offices are, how some of the Clients can be a little crass, and how HR is very disconnected from the Williamsburg office and to not really listen to what they tell me. Overall weird and kinda bad vibes. After that in person interview, I haven't heard from anyone I met or the recruiter, and I can't follow up with anyone I met because I was never given their contact info. I've left emails and voicemails from the recruiter and nothing.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

'Tell me about yourself' and that was basically it. They had my resume in front of them so they knew my experience from that, but didn't ask anything beyond that
