I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Stryker
Interview
30 minute phone call with Recruiter. Gave top line insight into company and specific job. Asked about my work experience, background and asked 3-4 normal interview questions.
2nd interview with higher up manager. 30 minute Zoom video call. Gave more insight into position, asked about background and 3-4 basic interview questions.
3rd interview was a Gallup assessment. 50-60 minute phone call w Gallup interview specialist. Asked 1-2 questions per minute. Some yes/no questions. Main purpose of interview is to see what your thought process is and what sort of personality traits you possess. You can find many of the example questions they ask by googling "Stryker Gallup interview".
Next step was to meet the current Sales Reps in person. 3 Sales Reps total in this territory. All reps had great personalities, gave real world insight into position and shared their own unique experience w the company. Somewhat informal, with a few interview type questions mixed in, mostly to better understand how you would be as a worker -how you'd overcome certain obstacles in real life scenarios; how confident you are in your abilities to sell and eliminate the competition.
About 2 months from initial Recruiter screening to final in person interview/meet up. Possible final interview would have been a case study in front of a panel but I was passed up after the last in person meeting.
Overall, the company definitely has an intensive interview process, for a good reason, that weeds out candidates after each interaction.
I was confident and extremely pleased with how all of my interviews/interactions with their team went.

I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview was conducted remotely from a representative outside of the country. While I understand the company is a large corporate entity, the Interview process felt impersonal and like the role itself was not particularly important

Question 1
Please give an example of one time you worked as a member of a team to solve a problem.
I was emailed to interview for a position in my city. I spent 2 days preparing and took time off from my current position only to get a call from the recruiter that the position i was interviewing for was filled already. They wanted to know if i was interested in relocating cities. I found the lack of communication to be very strange. A simple email would've been productive as i was super excited about the opportunity to even get the interview! Disappointing!
