Stifel Financial Restructuring Analyst interview questions

I interviewed for Miller Buckfire in November 2020. I applied on my school's career page and heard back for an interview request the next day for the day following that. First round was very technical. The second round was a few days later; also technical but more of an emphasis on behavioral. I was told at the end of the interview that I would be hearing soon about a Superday later in the week and that I moved on to that stage. However, I was lied to and never actually received any communication from them following this interview. For me, it just didn't sit right to have a company tell you that you moved on but then not actually follow through with it; felt that was unprofessional.
