I applied online. I interviewed at Stavvy
Interview
Applied through the company site and was contacted soon after by someone in the company.
Had a great conversation about the company and the kind of work they were doing there. As a next step a meeting with someone on the hiring team was scheduled. The night before the interview, the meeting was canceled saying there was a schedule conflict and that they needed to reschedule for next week. They never rescheduled and even after reaching out to the company I received no response. Not very professional and leaves a bad impression of the company to ghost someone like that.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to speak with us here at Stavvy. We apologize for any delay in our response, as we try our best to respond to each candidate in a timely manner. We will make sure to look into this further and prevent it from happening in the future.

Interview
1.) The first step of the process was a 15 minutes phone call with a member of the People Relations team. Here is where we went over my resume, previous position, and reasoning for seeking employment at Stavvy. This team member was very friendly, outgoing, and engaged in what I had to say.
2.) Next was a 45 minute interview with the Principal Software Engineer. I was able to choose my language of choice to complete a basic class creation assignment.
3.) Next was a 45 minute interview with a Software Engineer II. Here I wrote a series of related methods having to do with string manipulation.
4.) Last step was a 30 minute chat with the Cofounder Josh. Here we discussed the background of Stavvy, why it exists, and how we can impact the world. Josh is a very friendly, hilarious guy who is passionate about this company.
