A weird experience. Located in hk so applied for hk position. Didn’t hear anything until one month later, t a mainland HR replied email saying resume received asking for citizenship status and salary expectation. Didn’t even mention my name which seems not very respectful . Then got automatic rejection email from workday... It’s not like need a sponsorship or ridiculous salary but just got rejection with no explanation no interaction like this… very weird because if just CV/experience problem, then shouldn’t expect to receive such email after such long time, hr did not even bother to have a short call to learn more about candidates….wondering why wasting my time? Chinese way of doing things just for KPI? Curious if the position is real, but happy to avoid it.
