I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at State Farm in Jan 2024
Interview
Once you apply, they're fairly quick to send you an email to conduct a HireVue interview. Its a completely automated (no human interaction) process. The HireVue software asks you a variety of questions about your behavior and experience, then records your response. It also gives you a LeetCode style programming problem that has nothing to do with the job. I rate the interview difficult, since I found the process very unprofessional and disrespectful to software engineer candidates. Almost dystopian in nature. This company needs to respect it's candidates time and take the time to interview them.

Question 1
Describe a project/task you completed that you're proud of. Describe how your experience aligns with the job posting. LeetCode style problem looking for intersecting points on two squares.
Hire Vue video Interview, but they get back to you pretty quickly. They are trying to get through a lot of applicants and it is obvious in their hiring process.
Interview included a virtual interview where you're asked to record video answers. This is followed by a coding challenge. Finally, there was a live video call interview with team members.

Question 1
What was the most challenging task you faced, how did you overcome it, and what did you learn?
It consisted of three rounds: screening coding, self-recording interviews, and panel interviews. Panel interview was very technical, and questions were closely related to the job responsibilities. The difficulty for coding assessment wasn't as bad but definitely need to know the basics.
