I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Start Early (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2023
Interview
I had a phone interview with recruiter (15 min), followed by a panel interview of 45-1 hour with 4 people who worked there and then with the Hiring Manager and the VP of Educare
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Start Early (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Initial phone interview and then you will be contacted if you move onto the second in-person round. I made it to the second interview and was asked a series of behavioral questions. I was told they were, "very interested in me" and that I, "would definitely hear back soon to go on to the next round." That was not true, as I received a rejection the following day. I understand choosing a different candidate but please do not LIE to your candidates either. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and unnecessarily competitive for a position that only paid $35,000 at the top range of the salary they stated.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you ever received constructive criticism that you disagreed with? What is your preferred management style? Tell us about a failure and how you dealt with the situation? A LOT of questions about your faults, weaknesses, failures, shortcomings, etc. so be prepared for that.
