I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) in Nov 2018
Interview
The HR managing the interview process was clearly off shored as it took them about 3 weeks to secure an interview date, after multiple emails back and forth. There was a lot of miscommunication.
On the actual day, the interviewer was 15 mins late and was clearly too tired to conduct it.
Interview ended abruptly as interviewer had another meeting immediately thereafter. I felt not enough time was given to me to sell myself as the interviewer took 30mins to explain on the role.
All in all, the experience could be better as this is for a Director role.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank (Petaling Jaya) in Apr 2026
Interview
First interview was with Executive Director of Wealth Management
Second Interview was with Managing Director and Director of Wealth Management
the interview was don't through and through via zoom as the team interviewing is based in Singapore
