I was contacted by phone, talking with the HR Talent Acquisition staff person from St Mary's Care Center. The phone interview was informative and he was able to ask me questions about my experience and what I might do in situations when working with clients. He did refer to the mission statement for SSM health and guided me to complete more of the application process. The face to face interview was set up from that initial phone interview. The week following I met with the nurse manager and interviewed with her at the facility. She asked me questions that pertained to recalling how I responded to patient care needs and staff interaction in the LTC setting and memory care as well. I felt comfortable talking with both of these interviewers and they gave me a chance to share from my background and experience as a nurse. I felt there was a good balance of exchange in the information shared.
