OA, 3 Technical rounds, 1 hiring manager round
Coding (some implementation heavy, some more Leetcode-esque) + CS fundamentals (databases, networks, OS) + Language specifics (e.g. what's a decorator, what are context managers, what does yield do in Python) + Resume dive
The interview process started with a take-home assessment to evaluate my technical skills. After successfully completing that stage, I had an initial phone call with HR to discuss the role details and logistics. This was followed by a technical interview, and I am currently waiting to hear back regarding the next steps.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the technical round, they asked me to do a deep dive into one of my past engineering projects, discuss what I am looking for in my next role, and answer a series of Python technical trivia questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Squarepoint Capital (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
There is a first round of Online Assessment, the language and format and questions they ask depends on the division you apply to. Once you pass this, there'll be about 3 rounds of technical interviews. Can't really comment on what each round is like as I've never gotten that far.
