These interviews are focused on extracting insights for editorials, commissioned content, and Series, as well as gathering expert perspectives for webinars and podcasts. I prepare thoughtfully, developing targeted questions to ensure the discussion is both informative and engaging, while adapting in real time to explore emerging themes. I also ensure that interviews adhere to ethical and regulatory standards, capturing accurate scientific information while maintaining a clear narrative for publication or educational purpose
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Springer Nature
Interview
The first stage asked for the identification of interesting papers that would be candidates for the journal and some other tasks related to the editing process. The second stage was an interview at the London headquarters. The interview took about 5 hours in a friendly atmosphere. Very fast response and professionalism initially. However, after the interview the process slowed down dramatically (four weeks instead of one between the interview and decision), maybe due to some internal problems, which disturbed the initial picture of a professional company.
