Interview
It was simple and straight forward. Still waiting for the manager to call me. It was a very simple process that lasted 15 minutes the most. Looking forward to work with this company which is in its growth and expansion mode.

Interview
They had a woman (not GM) who was in charge of one department with no experience doing the hiring and conducting interviews at there new recently opened store on 23rd street. They were not knowledgeable at all on how to conduct proper interviews. Which was odd to say the least. Took two weeks to get a call back but was then asked for 3 references, who they did not even call. I was asked 3-4 basic generic questions and there were no follow up questions after an initial response like, how long did you work there? what skills do you have? What type of work did you do there? nothing. They did not dive deep at all. Very suspicious. How do you know who is a good fit if you do not assess their skill level and competence of the job requirements. It seem as if they already hired who they wanted and just took the interview out of courtesy, could have just sent an email or call to inform that they already filled their positions and not waste the candidateâs money and time of commuting to get there. Very biased. Always remember that your are interviewing them to see if its a good fit for you, just as much as they are interviewing you to see if you are a good fit for them.

Interview
Someone reached out to me on Indeed, with just a first name, asking to meet in a food court type area, saying to call when I arrive... it certainly wasn't the most professional start, but the guy doing the interview was very nice. He asked me ALL types of questions for an hour and 15 min. He asked for my references at the end and a couple days after, all 3 were called. I was asked to come in for another interview and met with a partner & Ops manager. Interview went well, 45 min, but I never heard back from them again. Now it's certainly not the first time I've been ghosted, that's an inconvenience for me, but I've never had anyone call all my references so early in the process... which would kinda be an inconvenience for them.
The whole process screamed "inexperienced company", and by their own admission, many of their systems of operations weren't set up yet. Their soup is delicious however.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions they were asking were varied and sometimes nothing to do with the position, as some point I was even asked what video games I like, they just wanted to gauge who you are as a person,
