Spero Studio interview questions

I applied by email after a personal referral. There was no phone introduction, I received an invitation to interview at a date and time that was NOT flexible. Very informal/casual GROUP interview - at an upscale restaurant downtown. Interview & evaluation is NOT resume based. Strictly portfolio and interview are considered. We were all given a bunch of random items (paper clips, forks, beads, foil) and told to create something with these items. NO traditional interview questions were asked. It is as if the hire was made off based on portfolio, personality and ability to handle group activity alone.
