I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2015
Interview
During the interview, the staff was very friendly and helpful which made it more relaxing. There was a phone interview that asked basic screening questions. After that, there was an email for a interview in person. They set up a flight for you to get to Dallas, TX.
It was a one way interview software was rlly buggy and syas you can redo the videos if you mess up but you cant :(. All behavioural basic like why southwest, why this position specifically, how does your experience, course work and involvemnet align with this position, a time you had conflict.
Lots of STAR style questions that pertain to past experiences. The interview was primarily conversation based, and not intimidating at all, would definitely recommend in any department, even if nervous.
It was quick and easy. This was the first round and more of a screening to make sure I met the same requirements that were mentioned on the application. They only asked 3 behavioral questions.
