I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2021
Interview
Phone interview. Microsoft Teams interview (for covid precautions) It used to be 1 on 3, but this time it was 1 on 2.
The interview team also used to consist of a flight attendant and supervisor, as well as a people department representative. But now it’s all just people department during covid. None of them have actually worked in the position.
When southwest brings back their interview committee made up of actual flight attendants it will be better. The girl doing the interview started a few months prior with no airline experience.

So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
