Interview
When I applied for the park ranger position, I first had to fill out an application, detailing my work history and education. After that, I was invited to an interview with a panel that included park managers and current rangers. They asked me a lot of questions to see if I knew about nature, safety procedures, and how to assist visitors. I also had to share examples from my past where I solved problems or worked well with others. Then, there was a physical test, which checked my fitness since being a ranger requires a lot of physical activity. The whole process was thorough, making sure I was a good fit for the role of protecting and managing the park.
