I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SoulCycle in Mar 2015
Interview
I was a big customer at SoulCycle (and still am) before I decided to apply and work there- I was so attracted by the energy and message of the company. I was recommended by a friend who worked at the front desk already and loved it, she was able to introduce me to the hiring studio manager, and sent my resume directly to him. I was called in for an interview later that week. Wore business casual clothes, and had a 30 minute interview on the benches in the studio with two of the managers.

Question 1
Will you be able to handle going from a customer to a staff member?
Easy and quick. They let me take a ride and then I interviewed with the manager. Questions were open-ended and just about my general abilities and willingness to work. From start to finish, it was a simple process and I got the job fairly quickly after the interview.
Quick virtual interview. Spoke to manager and assistant manager on my experience, why I would like to work at soul, and mostly my schedule and availability. Interview was conversation style.

Interview
It was very quick and easy. Questions about what I would bring to the team and what I knew about the company. Talked to the studio manager on the phone.
