I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sophia Genetics
Interview
I was disappointed with the interview process. HR was very slow in communication, taking over three weeks to respond at times. I was asked to complete a take-home project, which I invested significant time in, only to be informed afterward that I was no longer aligned with the role. When I requested feedback on the project, I never received a response. The lack of timely updates and constructive feedback made the process feel unprofessional and left me with a negative impression.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sophia Genetics in Nov 2020
Interview
Very unprofessional. I applied in early October, and got an answer for an interview in late November. The hiring specialist seems like she does not even bother to write an email or confirm the receipt of one.
Initially, I had to choose a slot online but the website was bugging. I had to choose a different date and received an automatic confirmation saying I would receive a link to a teams meeting. I did not have access to my computer for a few days, and in the meantime, I received an automatic email where they had changed the date of the interview. These people do not send emails to ask and verify, everything is automatic. Anyways, I was luckily still available for the new date, but I still sent an email to ask if it was confirmed, and to request a teams link ( because I wasn't provided any). Radio silence, no link.
I went about with my day thinking there wasnt going to be any interview. Then I saw a bunch of missed calls on my phone... Seriously. Be more professional and read the emails you send. I had sent again an email saying I was expecting a link, and only after 3 emails I got an answer with a link and a new date. They still never used the link by the way and called me on my phone- not an issue, now I know.
And after that, they said the would send me a task that I had to hand within a week. I solved it and sent an email with my solutions. Radio silence. I sent an email a few days later to ask for a confirmation of receipt. Radio silence. two wekes later, I called and wanted information. Radio silence. almost after 3 weeks, I received a generic rejection email without any explanation or apologies. Please have some respect to the candidates who spend hours wokring on your tasks and writing emails. It's the least you can do. I will never join a company as such. Good luck keeping the hard workers with such management.
