1. Interview with HR Portugal team lead Ana = week 1 2. Technical interview with hiring managers = week 2 Two hiring managers were one from Alpharetta & other from Portugal. The HR team was helpful, the main hiring manager said she had to leave 10 minutes early during the technical interview. I ponder why she had committed for an hour and would leave early. It also made me think about the company culture. Do they really value their people? I am sure it was very necessary for her to go and I get that. I am there to find if I want to work at Solvay or not. If she had apologized or said at the start of the meeting, I would feel okay. Any-way I did not get the job offer or next interview and I thought the questions asked during the interview were very technical and good. I sent a follow-up email to the HR and they did not respond until I was politely forceful about it. The hiring manager/s did not reply my thank you for the interview opportunity email. That I think is lame but optional to reply I guess on the hiring manager side. I have hired several people myself and expected high standards. The job seemed fun and included upto 60% travel. So that aspect looked exciting.
