The process began with a 15-minute phone call with the ASIC design manager, which was professional and pleasant. This was followed by a 1.5-hour technical interview, which was fair and constructive.
The final stage was an interview with the VP of IC Product and Silicon Operations, which was a negative experience. The interviewer started by saying, "I heard you were very nervous in the last interview," and later, after asking questions about CMOS, power, and other topics, told the team manager in front of me, "I'm shocked that they study for four years and have no clue how the industry works."
