I interviewed here in 2022 and received an offer significantly below industry standards. Despite my attempts to negotiate, they were unwilling to increase the offer by even $2,000. Unfortunately, I had to decline the offer and accepted a position at another company. Recently, I noticed two new job openings for a Senior Administrative Assistant and a Principal Administrative Assistant. To my surprise, the salary range mentioned in the job postings matched what I had been seeking in my negotiations last year. I decided to reach out to the team I had interviewed with previously to express my renewed interest. However, I was informed that these positions were considered "lower level," which was puzzling to me because the offered salaries were significantly higher than what I had been offered last year—$15,000 more. Despite my efforts to reintroduce myself and convey my enthusiasm, both of my new applications were declined.
