      Interview

First stage was an informal interview just talking more about the company and job offer and reasons I'd like to join. Maybe 15 minutes or so. Second interview took around 30 minutes explaining my technical background, the interviewer was late and had to reschedule but all seemed well. I then recieved a technical task and was told the sooner I completed it, the better which was a simple pdf document asking for an ETL for an API in python. I made it basic to suit the specification and also expressed other approaches I'd have taken if there were complex transformations, other source systems or a large amount of data, detailing in my email that if there were any issues or if a more detailed approach was required, I'd happily spend more time on it. Since it seemed like a basic knowledge test and their urgency, I presumed this would be acceptable but I heard nothing for 2 weeks until I followed up and had a swift, undetailed rejection sent back. I was left rather confused around timescales, lack of communication and very uncaring/casual approach to interviews as well as lack of structure. To be told the results of the test which was fairly basic and specific, didn't match the results for the position didn't feel satisfactory.

      Interview

It was a good interview, They asked mostly technical questions after inquiring about job experience etc. Recruiter was nice too. I learnt a lot! Sadly, my prep was bad. ---------------
