The interview process was two fold with an initial interview with reference to personality and second about technical skills with a senior manager jumping in "out of the blue" to see how you cope with that sort of thing. The dissapointing part about the interview process was the time for the feedback. I interviewed and initial feedback was that I was a good candidate and they like me but had other interviews to conduct. Which would be fine, however it then took 4 weeks for the official "no" to come back. As the initial feedback had been positive other opportunities presented during that period were turned down as the level of confidence was high. The negative element for the overall experience is purely down to the fact that the response took so long to come back. My feedback to Softcat would be that you respect peoples time a little more and understand that people make life decisions based on what comes out of interviews.
