I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SoftMoc (Toronto, ON)
Interview
I applied through indeed for a position. My interview consisted of questions about my experience with POS systems and customer service and other general questions about strengths and weaknesses and a scenario-based question about how I would handle a difficult customer. It was a very casual interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SoftMoc (Toronto, ON)
Interview
It was very short and brief. They asked the typical interview questions and then gave me a tour of their stock room. The interview was done in the mall cafeteria
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SoftMoc (Edmonton, AB) in Sept 2015
Interview
I applied in person, but didn't receive a call until a month later (they weren't hiring the month earlier). I was asked a few basic questions over the phone (such as why do you want to work at SoftMoc?), and was asked to come in for a in-person interview. The in-person interview itself was a pretty standard retail interview. The manager at my store was extremely nice and made an effort to make the interview as comfortable and causal as possible.
