There were four rounds over about three weeks. The first round was the recruiter screening. The second was with the hiring manager and focused on competencies, problem solving and concrete examples of past design accomplishments. The third round was a panel where I had to present my design ideas for how I would design effective, engaging, and learner-centric practice activities delivered through an AI-powered chatbot. The panel were less interested in the final output and more in the design rationale and how to ensure the solution actually works for learners which is really important. And the final round was with the CPO discussing values and motivation.
Overall it was a very positive experience. The team came across as collaborative, genuine, and passionate about what they do.
