I applied online. I interviewed at Social Care Institute for Excellence in Mar 2024
Interview
Was given just two days notice for the interview and that also required a complex written task. Communications ahead of interview got my name and email address wrong. The interview itself included very stretching questions, which was fine, but most of the panel were quite po-faced and didn’t take much interest in getting to know me. I waited two weeks to chase up feedback, heard nothing, chased again a week later and was told I hadn’t been successful but they had no further info to give. I’m still waiting for feedback. All in all quite disappointing.

Question 1
Lots of particular example requests, eg give an example of having to campaign for something difficult.
I applied online. I interviewed at Social Care Institute for Excellence (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Oct 2020
Interview
The process was very swift. Two weeks after the closing date for applications I was interviewed and I started in Post just over two weeks later. The interview was carried out remotely. There were three people on the interview panel all of whom made a real effort to help me feel relaxed. The questions were varied, some more challenging than others but all had the feel of giving me an opportunity to talk of my strengths rather than trying to catch me out. I had the opportunity to ask questions at the end and this was a great opportunity to find out more about the post. I found the interview to be a very positive experience.

Question 1
One question I was asked was why I wanted to work at SCIE. I was also asked how I would manage working on several projects at once.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Social Care Institute for Excellence (Swindon, Wiltshire, South West England, England) in Sept 2020
Interview
The whole process was well organised and well briefed. The panel represented all the different departments of the charity which was reassuring to see as the level of engagement was crucial to the success of this role.
