"Tomas, the CEO, reached out to me in a friendly manner via email. He requested that I complete a task before even having an introductory call, and when I asked for an initial introduction call, he refused, saying that I should complete the task first (which is weird because tasks are usually assigned after a successful initial call). After promptly finishing the task in only 2 days, I inquired about salary but received only a vague response about review timing. Despite follow-up inquiries, no salary information was provided. A week later, I was informed of my unsuccessful application without any feedback. This experience raises suspicions of a scam, with the company possibly seeking free ideas rather than genuine candidates. It's advisable to steer clear of such practices.
Here is first email:
Hi XX,
this is Thomas, co-founder at Snuggs. I saw your profile among candidates for the position of CRM Specialist / Senior CRM Executive and you got into the first selection! :)
We typically send out a short task to the candidates before scheduling an interview with me or Linda, my co-founder.
Please, have a look and let me know if everything is clear and when could you get this done.
Task
1. Create an emailing flow to convert Trialist to the second purchase
Learn about the snuggsTrial concept (1 pcs only, 1st order only) here. A trialist is someone who buys the Trial product in their first order.
The flow should include:
- Email briefs (content, subject)
- Timeline
- Flow conditions,..
I look forward to seeing your approach to this case and hopefully see you for an interview soon.
Best,
Thomas
