I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap Finance in Aug 2024
Interview
One Indian and one Costa Rican are the interviewers, they are rude people, they asked the hardest and confused questions, with bad intentions, and after that you only have 15 minutos, to find the 3 bugs and fix them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
OOP, Spring Boot, Java, etc.
Live coding:
/**
*
* The provided code is designed to search for a target element in a rotated sorted array.
* A rotated sorted array is an array that was initially sorted but then "rotated" at some pivot point,
* such that part of the array is still sorted, but the sorted sequence is split. For example, the array [4,5,6,7,0,1,2]
* is a rotated version of [0,1,2,4,5,6,7].
* The algorithm first finds the minimum element in the array, which indicates the point where the array was rotated.
* Code has some bugs , can you debug it?

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Snap Finance (Detroit, MI) in Mar 2022
Interview
Short recruiter/HR call, video chat with a teammate, then a live-coding technical screen.
I was told the tech screen would be leetcode easy, perhaps with some mediums towards the end. Second question was a leetcode hard, which I struggled on and did not pass.
