The first interview was pretty much a no-show on the manager's part. Apparently two employees quit on them that day (something I should have taken as a bad sign). I arrived at the store at 10:45am for an 11:00am appointment and sat waiting for the manager until about 11:51am. We rescheduled for 12:00pm the next, and he was around 10 to 15 minutes late for that one as well. The interview itself was nothing out of the ordinary. He asked the usual questions: "tell me about yourself," "why do you want to work for this company." We discussed my schedule for a few minutes; I informed him I wouldn't be able to work past 3:30pm for the first 2 weeks. After a few minutes of talking, he left for another 10 minutes and arrived to tell me I would be hired as an office assistant, but they wanted to started me off as a cashier. I stupidly accepted the offer. After I was hired, despite the negotiations about my schedule, I was still kept past 4:30pm.
