They wanted me to come for a short first stage interview rather than do it online like most other reasonable companies. They have interviewed many candidates over a long period, which indicates they are very picky. The start of the interview was very abrupt and the interviewer asked questions that were completely inappropriate and unrelated to the job role or job description.
It felt like she didn't know how to conduct a professional interview nor understood the actual role.
She also didn't seem to understand some of the technical topics when I answered her, especially when one of the answers I gave was per her own group company policy. This meant that I couldn't go into as much depth with her in technical matters.
Overall the interview was a waste, avoid going for such interviews.
