I applied in-person. I interviewed at Smithfield Foods
Interview
It was one interview in which I was told to focus specifically on a very narrow portion of my career while ignoring other significant experience that shaped the professional that I am today.

Question 1
What is an accomplishment that you were most proud of?
Seemed a bit unorganized. Talent Acquisition team contacted quickly and was very nice and interview went well. Scheduled interview with hiring manager but original interview date was changed. Interview with hiring manager seemed positive and hopeful. They stated they were impressed with resume and made it seem like they needed someone like me. Was told they were making decision by end of the following week. Never heard back and no rejection email either. I feel it’s unprofessional to not give the courtesy to let candidates know whether they are still being considered or not and to just leave them hanging. This is the 2nd job not even related that I applied for there in the past few years that “ghosted” me after what seemed to be a great interview.
