Applied to the role on 1.5.2025 and received an initial interview request
on the following day from the CEO's Executive Assistant. I met with them on 1.16.2025. Interview went well and the following interview with the hiring manager was scheduled for 1.27.2025. On 1.24.2025 I received an email stating that the interview would need to be rescheduled due to an emergent situation involving the hiring manager. I was notified at that time that I would be contacted once the individual returned-to-office.
I heard absolutely nothing after that until 2.27.2025, slightly over a month after being told that the interview would be rescheduled. I received an email from a Recruiter/ HR Coordinator, that I had never received communication from, stating that the position had been filled and that I was a strong contender, but they selected someone whose experience and background aligned more closely with the role.
