I had an online interview that went well. Then they asked me to come in person for a 2nd interview. 10 minutes before my appointment, they emailed me saying they had to delay an hour. So, I waited an extra hour out of my day to then be brought into the conference room where we went over all the responsibilities of the role. I thought it went well and that it was a productive conversation. After, I was told they would reach out within a couple weeks. I followed up the next day with a thank you. I didn't hear anything back and followed up after a few weeks. I never heard anything back from this company. Straight ghosted me. Message to management- in the future, please let candidates know if they are rejected. A lot of time can go into interview preparation especially since time off from work needs to be taken sometimes. It shows that you actually care about your prospective employees regardless of if you accept them or not.
