      Manager Interview

      25 Sept 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Slalom

      Interview

I was really excited about the chance to join Slalom and went through multiple rounds of interviews, including conversations with senior leaders. After that, I was asked to provide work samples, which I quickly turned around. From there, though, communication from the recruiter completely dropped off for weeks without any word. For a company that talks a lot about being “fiercely human” and people-first, the experience felt very different. The lack of transparency and the drawn-out nature of the process all show a lack of respect. If this is how they treat candidates, I worry about what it would be like to work there. Just something to keep in mind if you’re considering applying.

      Interview

Great process. Met with several members of the team. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Time was quick between interviews and well communicated. Offer was given verbally and then in writing.

      Manager Interview

      18 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Houston, TX) in Sept 2018

      Interview

Starts with a phone interview with the recruiter. Then invited for site + panel interviews (2-3 round). Interviewers are personable and give a clear picture of work culture. Recruiter dropped the ball at the end by never following up with a positive or negative close on company decision.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Straightforward behavioral questions. Some questions about breadth of domain expertise.

Thanks so much for taking a moment to share your feedback. It sounds as though we missed the mark there in Houston in terms of follow up. We're routinely working to get better, so we'll be sure to share this feedback with the team in Houston. Thanks for taking the time to explore an opportunity at Slalom.
