Took about a month after my application to the initial HR interview. Then interviewer said would present my profile to hiring manager then that was it. It appears that in this case HR selects the candidates interviews them then presents them to the hiring manager who selects which one they like to proceed but some I think pre-selects the candidates then give them to the hiring manager to choose then that is the time they conduct the initial HR interview which is I think more efficient rather than the HR going through a lot of initial HR interview then the hiring manager will not like them anyway. It is a waste of time for both sides so I suggest just just present whatever HR thinks is a good candidate and let the manager select and then you do the HR initial interview much more efficient.
