Siteminder has a interview process that is split into different phases. The initial contact was by the recruiter and HR Specialist. In my case this was conducted by Shab Heir. She accompanied the whole process from Beginning to End. The first conversations are obviously to see if you are the right fit and if you fulfil the requirements. This first phase is conducted over the phone, in a conversational manner.
The second phase was to go deeper into the reasons why I wanted to work with Siteminder, why this specific job role and the mutual expectations. At this point I also had to pass a language test, which was conducted by one of the Sales Managers. This was conducted over a video call that lasted about 45 Minutes. The tone is conversational.
The last phase required a Presentation about the topic of "Your greatest Sales Success". The presentation should not be longer than 15 Minutes and is followed up with a Q&A by the hiring team and sales managers. This was conducted at their office in Barcelona.
Throughout the process, between emails to arrange the different scheduled meetings, etc. I had catch up calls with Shab Heir. She is outstanding in what she does. This is more than just recruiting. She is a coach, a guide and very motivational, which takes off some of the stress that is normal with finding a job.
