I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Singapore Airlines
Interview
1. Registration to submit application form
2. Introduce yourself
3. Height check
4. Games
5. Management interview
6. Dress+Skin check
The interview seems easy but very thorough. Especially the first round, we don't really know what they were assessing us for at all which was very frustrating to many who did not make it through especially when they performed much better than the ones who got through the first stage. The ones that did not get through spoke perfect English and were more natural when speaking. However, in my group it was those who spoke very poor English, they were from Chinese independent schools got in. There were also former cabin crews from other airlines that joined the interview. But their years of experience also did not give them the upper hand.
Note: Do you all notice that it's kind of weird that only those who didn't get an offer wrote in detail about the process? But those who got the offer, who has the most in-depth knowledge left very simple information about the interview which are not very useful.
The walk-in interview 6 rounds, height and weight, self intro, debate, small group interview, individual interview, kebaya fitting. They eliminated people in each round. Outspoken people were mostly eliminated. Calm and confidence I think, but not sure of the criteria.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Singapore Airlines (Singapore) in Apr 2026
Interview
In order:
Height test
Debate round
Management interview
Grooming check
Throughout the process, the staff managing the crowd was rude and raised voice to ask the crowd to quieten down.
The interview process doesn’t represent of what candidates potential are, easily small things out of candidates control can cause candidates to not be selected.
The process was relatively smooth. The selection process is as what everyone mentioned, in stages. For me, it started with a self introduction and ended with a kebaya walk. There was also a stage of one to one interview with the management (somewhere nearing the end).
