Initial call with HR
Then a virtual interview with the hiring manager and another employee of SB.
Was advised interview would be informal and the usual competency questions. Was asked very technical underwriting questions which I was not expecting as I had no prior UW experience. Questions were not specific to area I was interview for.
Then got an email to arrange a face to face in the office which should be informal again and more about personality. When I got to the office was shown around and had a general chat with the hiring manager about how I felt about the vibe in the office. Then was introduced to their manager who then asked me another set of questions about underwriting and business. I had thankfully prepared for this to happen as I learnt the first time that my interpretation of informal was very different to SB. Felt like I answered all the questions well as I had done prepared.
Was notified by email the next day I was unsuccessful and I had asked to feedback which I got back a few days later.
Everyone I interacted with at SB was very nice.
