1. day of a trainee simulation: there are two parts of the assessment - ranking a list of tasks with priorities and providing your next steps and explanations; reading a piece of legislation and drafting an email. 2. legal case study; 3. partner interview.

Question 1
Competency questions revolving around their core competencies; Why Simmons, why law?
The interview involved self-introduction, competency-based interview questions, technical questions (a problem scenario). There was a mandarin test (reading aloud a paragraph and dictating a paragraph). There was an online drafting test.

Interview
Logical reasoning and verbal reasoning assessment that was followed by some video interview questions. Around 5 questions of basic fit and competency that is expected for any video interview. Prepare why law, why the firm, what's going on in the legal world etc.
Initial stage is a written application involving basic motivational questions. Followed by a skills competency test. The AC was all online, three different tasks, all individual. Ran seamlessly. Completed AC but haven't heard an outcome over 2 months later.
