My first round was on 29th April 2021.
Second round on 5th May 2021
And HR round on May 7th 2021.
She (HR) told me everyone liked and discussed the tentative joining date. We discussed the numbers and I confirmed her to go ahead with the offer.
The same night she mails that there would be US level round. I was surprised but agreed (had no option)
She never got back after this. No response to mails or calls.
Randomly she calls on 17th May saying that the US interview will be on 19th May only to call up on 19th to cancel the calls.
I've heard great things about svb. Unfortunately I didn't experience them. This is completely unprofessional and downright disrespectful.
If anyone is applying at svb and they keep prolonging and cancelling calls , I sincerely request, start looking for another job. The organisation might be great but one rotten apple can do a lot of damage.
I would request svb to keep the 'offer' I was supposedly offered and divert that budget to hire more humane HRs. Let's try to keep the Human in Human resource for the sake of people especially when we are already amidst a pandemic looking for opportunities.
