I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Siemens (Bengaluru) in Mar 2018
Interview
I got a call from HR setting up the interview. I was asked to prepare a 2 slide presentation mentioning:
1. Project Architecture
2. Challenges
3. Contributions etc
I was asked to be ready with a computer and join the call. Will have to share the screen and type some code etc if asked.
Interview happened, 3 guys joined from their side, nothing significant asked. No challenging questions asked. In the end I was asked my salary and then asked if I would consider joining for less. Obviously No. I don't even recall if the interviewer was a manager. He was not HR for sure. Based on few things he asked about my project he sounded like individual contributor. What business does an Individual Contributor has asking for a candidate's salary? Even if he had to ask, aren't these confidential? Would you ask in front of 2 other people? Then comes the standard statement, HR will get back to you.
I literally had to force the HR to tell me that they wouldn't be able to proceed. That's all. No feedback. No reasons given. As a candidate, when I invest in taking the call, preparing the PPT, it is my right to know the feedback.
It was highly unprofessional on Siemens HR's part to not share the feedback. Also the salary could have been asked upfront and checked if you can afford.
Total waste of time. Completely unorganized.

Interview
I have applied on LinkedIn. Had a call from Human Resources for screening. I had a single interview with hiring manager and some members of the team after screening call. Very straightforward process. I got an offer immediately.

A few technical and a few behavioral questions. They want to be sure that you won’t leave in a very short amount of time.

Interview
3-round interview. First online, then on-site. Every time i thought it was the last, but i got a mail saying that i am moving to the next round. Rather impersonal interviews with awkward silences and very specific questions.
