Very disappointing interview process. I was reached out via phone call to connect with the recruiter a couple weeks after I applied. She had 3-4 questions for me, like why I was looking for a new role, if I was ok with hybrid, salary expectations, etc. There was no opportunity to ask questions. Was told that they would let me know if the manager wanted to interview with me. An interview was set up a week or two later to interview with the hiring manager (Director) via Teams for a half hour. That interview consisted of her telling me about the role, and she maybe asked me one question about my resume/background. She did not get to know me at all outside of that question, which was brief. Right at the end of the half hour, she ended the meeting abruptly and I had no opportunity to ask questions or ask for expectations regarding next steps. I followed up with a thank you email, which received no response. Over two weeks went by with no correspondence, so I sent a message to the recruiter to ask if there was any feedback. No response, but the next day I received a message from their ATS declining me. As a HR professional, my expectations for the recruitment process are high, but they missed every mark along the way to make this experience a good one.
