I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Shift CRM (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2022
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me with the opportunity. First interview was with the Principal Consultant for a cultural fit interview, next round was with a Senior Consultant/Analyst Team Lead which was more technical. Final round is a presentation where you discuss a project you've worked on.
The entire interview process was extremely smooth.
From speaking with the people I met during the interview process Shift have some amazing individuals working there that clearly care about the employee experience. At no point did I feel like uncomfortable at all during the interview process, quite honestly one of the best interview experiences I've ever had!

Interview
Telephonic Interview with the HR was great. We spoke about 20 minutes talking about my experience and aspirations. She explained me what the company is all about etc.
F2F 1st round - Casual Interview with basic questions and the lady was very pleasant to talk to. She explained me everything about the job role and what the company expects.
Told me to come for a and final round with a presentation that HR would communite further.
So I prepared a presentation and I worked hard for the whole week.
Here is when the fun starts :
On the final Interview day
The interviewer was busy in a meeting so i had to wait for a 15-20 minutes. Anyways, Finally a guy came in (who wasn't supposed to conduct my interview) and took me to the board room and asked me if anyone has already set me up with the demo. I was thinking that he would set up a screen or something and I will start with the presentation. Instead, he started asking me random questions which I had already answered in the previous round. I didn't have any problems and I answered comfortably to whatever "Vague" questions he asked. These random talks went on for 20 minutes and then finally I asked him. "What about the presentation?"
He replied- "You know what... dont worry about it."
I felt really awkward of how my interview ended. I Shook hands and left.
Now... my suggestions to the "professional" people working there.
1) Please value a candidate's time and dont schedule interviews when the interviewer is busy. Manage your calendars well.
2) It is very unprofessional behavior when you ask an interviewee to prepare a presentation and dont even give him an opportunity to present it.
3) It's totally unfair how some other candidate was selected without giving everyone else an equal opportunity.
I really had high hopes from shift CRM but I am really dissatisfied and disappointed with the unprofessional behavior.
Thank you.
