I applied for the paint stores internship a few weeks before I got a call to see if I was still interested. It had been long enough that I had thought they weren't interested. When they did contact me, I got a call one morning and was aked if I was still interested. I said I was and was asked if I would be available for a phone interview later that day. I agreed and did the interview and was then asked if I would be available to do a store visit within the next two days to get a feel for what I would be doing on during my internship because people don't always realize how hands-on it is. After the store visit- where I interviewed the manager about the company with a list of questions given to me to bring along- I called the recruiter back and scheduled an interview with the district manager for the next day. I did the interview and was aked questions similar to those on the phone interview- some about extra curriculars, some behavioral. After that I was told I would be contacted in a few days to see if I got an offer or not. This was on a Thursday and I heard back on the following Sunday with an offer, pending a backround check. I accepted and my backround check cleared.
