I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shaw's in Jan 2018
Interview
Super easy. Basic questions about you as a person, what you strengths/weaknesses are, how you would handle certain scenarios, prior work experience, where you would like to work. Then she called up the produce manager to meet me.

Interview
Easy.. met with HR, then second interview the same day. Took a week before I was offered a position. Drug test was done at the store. They also do random checks, so if you do drugs this probably isn't the place for you. Nice people there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly customer service questions. All questions were read off a sheet. The only one that stumped me was "What was I most proud of"... which actually could be, for me anyway, many things.
Make sure you plan ahead and also ask questions for them. It's good to know a few things about the company before you make a choice.

Interview
Shaws called me a week after I applied for a stocking and bagging position asking me if I would mind coming in for and interview for the produce department. I am a college student and have not moved to the location yet so I drove an hour and 30 minutes to get there for an interview that lasted 5 minutes. The interviewer asked me about schooling, past jobs, and hobbys. Then he straight out told me he didn't want to hire me because I didn't seem enthusiastic enough about the job. Then told me that no one is going to hire me if I'm not excited for the job. I have had a job since I was 15 and I've never had anyone say this about me. Also I drove three hours total, how is that not enthusiastic enough?
