It took me a few months to come back and give this feedback as the interview was so shockingly biased. Recruiter sourced me, saying they had several roles available. After some back-and-forth over a couple of weeks, she stated that the leader wanted to talk to me, and then also one of his direct reports.
This interview, hands-down was one of the most disrespectful, obviously biased and discriminatory interviews that I have ever had in my life. I was completely shocked by the unprofessionalism. It was abundantly clear that the male interviewer had a certain type in mind. I have a deep experience of over 15 years, and from the very start the hiring manager was saying things like I don’t think you can handle this job, if you want to call off the interview right now that’s OK…without any reason to do so from me. He didn’t really ask questions just made totally unfounded assumptions. The hiring manager also looked disheveled, and seemed generally like he was trying to shoot me down in every way. Also saying things like if you don’t cut it in six months I fire you, so I’m not sure why you would take this chance. It was the strangest most unprofessional interview I have ever had in my life. Why source me, and then take time to be so unprofessional? Maybe they have an internal EEOC mark to meet for interviews - that can be the only explanation here. Totally shocking - especially based on the high ratings of this company.
