I applied through other source. I interviewed at Serenity Healthcare (Denver, CO)
Interview
Got an overview interview to go over position and answer basic interview questions and the interaction was pleasant and positive. I was waiting to hear back when I was invited by Serenity Healthcare to a job fair and to interview in person. I selected a time and registered and received a confirmation email, however the night before, I received a cancellation email for my interview. Confused and hurt, I emailed the HR person I had received the job fair invitation from and asked why it was cancelled and to get an explanation. The next day I received a superficial response and apology that didn't give me any answers as to why they cancelled my interview. The cancellation left me with a bad taste in my mouth about the company and management. I feel like they may have not reviewed my resume (didn't have enough experience for a training role) or mixed something up and didn't intend to interview me. Whatever reason, the lack of communication and sneaky cancelling of my interview made me glad to not move forward with them. I wouldn't want to work anywhere if their hiring process was this mismanaged and negative.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic experience questions and tell me about yourself, and a lot of scheduling questions.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Serenity Healthcare (Dallas-Fort Worth) in Jul 2026
Interview
Disinterested and overly busy recruiter. Asked to come in and drive to a site I would not even be working in across the entire metroplex for a final interview on a laptop with managers in different states. There was no respect for my time at all. Very unprofessional.
I applied online. I interviewed at Serenity Healthcare (Lehi, UT) in Mar 2026
Interview
I had an in-person interview and the process went smoothly. I arrived in the lobby and then was taken to one room to wait along with other job candidates, then finally to a separate interviewing room with a supervisor who would be partially conducting the interview. We spoke to a different supervisor out of state through video call and they described the role (as I applied to a few different roles and wanted to understand the difference in requirements and qualifications). It turned out my skills would have been better suited for a different team within the company and was told my interview would go into consideration for them as well. Did not receive a job offer and I am relieved, because for a mental health clinic their online reviews are quite atrocious and I had the feeling it was more a business of money, not people. Those experiencing difficult challenges in life need to be approached with genuine empathy and care, not harsh sales tactics and guilt-tripping.
